What Career Traction is

Career Traction is a job search management tool. It helps you track applications, log activity, manage connections, plan your week, and monitor your progress during an active job search.

What Career Traction is not

Career Traction is not a career advisory service, recruitment agency, employment service, or counselling tool. It does not provide personalised career advice, job recommendations, or guaranteed outcomes. It is a practical organisational tool.

You own your data. You can export it, correct it, or delete it at any time.

Availability

Career Traction is currently in pilot. We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or improvements.

Intellectual property

Career Traction, including its design, code, and brand, is the intellectual property of Sarah McLeod People & Culture. Your data remains yours. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the product but does not confer any intellectual property rights.

Limitation of liability

Career Traction is provided "as is" during the pilot period. To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law:

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
